Faulty uPVC Door Locks

A common fault with uPVC door locks is the cylinder clutch slipping, and therefore not allowing the key to be removed, unless the lock is in the unlocked position. The cylinder can be reset but this is not recommended. Replacement cylinders start from £20. The best idea is to replace them. New keys will be provided.

uPVC Lock Repairs and Servicing

If your lock system is becoming hard to operate, and needs a very firm lift on the handles to allow the cylinder key to turn. Then give us a call, we may be able to repair the lock and service it. Failure to do so, will most certainly result in the lock becoming jammed shut. Then a replacement lock is needed. This is obviously the more costly option.
